ETHEL AUSTIN PROPERTIES EXPAND IN CHESTER
Ethel Austin Properties has recently acquired an old printers building in Chester’s John Street in an extensive £1.3m redevelopment.
The plan is to form ground and first floor retail/leisure with A3 consent, with self contained modern office space above. Work has already started and is expected to be complete by summer 2008. The five storey building will offer close to 16,000 sq ft of accommodation when the development is complete.
Mason Owen and Beresford Adams are joint agents on the scheme.
This follows the success of another 14,000 sq ft development a few doors away which is currently under offer to a leisure operator.
Ethel Austin Properties has an extensive portfolio of property in the Chester area, with one of its most recent additions including a £3m trade park development in Saltney, Riverside Trade Park, where three units are let and the remaining three are all currently under offer.
Occupiers include successful Chester based retailer The Store, Deelux Trade Kitchens and Insite Network Solutions. Beresford Adams, Legat Owen and Mason Owen are joint agents.
Stripemicro Ltd (an Ethel Austin Properties joint venture) has recently purchased 1A and 1B Hilliards Court in Chester with plans for a refurbishment and subdivision into five high quality office suites of between 1,000 sq ft for sale or to let.
Mason Owen and Legat Owen are joint letting agents and sales agents for the scheme.
