Sanderson Arcade is a completely new shopping centre in the heart of the beautiful market town of Morpeth. With 27 fantastic stores there's something for everyone at Sanderson Arcade.
Completed in November 2009, the shopping centre brings a host of new retailers into the town including Marks & Spencer, New Look, Waterstones, The Body Shop, Laura Ashley, Fat Face and many more.
Work started on the Sanderson Arcade development in July 2008. The elegant Edwardian style arcade opening out onto a central piazza houses some of the country's best loved high street names as well as some of the North East's leading specialist retailers. Dransfield Properties Limited and Ethel Austin Properties Limited redeveloped the Sanderson Arcade and Back Riggs Shopping Centre. Known as The Gateway to Northumberland, Morpeth is an ancient market town less than 20 miles from Newcastle and is easily accessible by the A1.
